This thing is junk. Description said it is rated for 165lbs, but when I mounted my 85lb tv on it, it bent and now the tv sags about 3 ihencs on the left side. It does not move freely from the wall. It is weak enough that when you walk through the room, the tv moves a little bit. The back plate is set for 16 inch wall studs, but only if you are directly between two of them. The center of my wall is right on a stud, so if I mount this in the center of the room, it does not span two studs.
